Will Smith as Deadshot and Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn in “Suicide Squad”; Clay Enos/TM & © DC Comics(NEW YORK) — Warner Bros. can “Harley” wait to work with Margot Robbie again.
Robbie is playing the DC Comics villain Harley Quinn in the upcoming movie Suicide Squad. Now there’s word from The Hollywood Reporter that she’ll reprise the role in a spin-off that will focus not only on Quinn, but a number of DC female characters.
It’s rumored that Batgirl and the Birds of Prey team may be among the characters involved the untitled project.
The Hollywood Reporter says Robbie pitched the idea for the spin-off to Warner Bros.
You can see Robbie, along with Jared Leto, Will Smith and other big names, in Suicide Squad when it opens August 5.
