Trace, the former backing vocalist and lead guitarist for Metro Station, has released a new single called “Lights Out.” The song combines an electronic beat with Trace’s emotive vocals. The lyrics details a tumultuous relationship with a “small town girl” who moved to the city.

“What’s the point if we’re just a lie/Girl, I want you to live with me/She rocks Chanel when she’s riding her black Benz/Drunk downtown with a gang of fake friends,” Trace sings on the song.

Trace’s sister Noah Cyrus recently launched her own music career as well. She just released “Stay Together,” the second track from her upcoming debut album NC-17. Miley also has new material in the works.
