Jade EhlersIn November, MAX announced that he had to cancel his concerts for a few months due to a “vocal injury.”  But now the “Lights Down Low” singer is back and, he says, better than ever.

MAX posted a clip to Instagram and Twitter saying, “My voice is back!  Merry Christmas.” In the caption, he writes, “For four months I’ve been mainly silent…after finding out I had a small polyp on my vocal chord. After a surgery, a lot of depression, and a whole lot of love and support I’m happy to report today I saw my doctor and he says MY VOCAL CHORDS ARE LOOKING MAGNIFICENT.”

“The healing begins,” he continues. “Thank you to the amazing fans and family who’ve had my back during this time. LETS MAKE 2019 INSANE BABY WITH A BRAND NEW ALBUM FOR YALL.”

In 2018, ahead of the release of his new album, MAX embarked on his House of Divine world tour. There’s no release date yet for the new project, which reportedly will also be called House of Divine.
