RCA RecordsAfter teasing the song earlier this week, Zayn has released his new collab with Timbaland, “Too Much.”
Set to a mellow, pulsating beat, Zayn sings about being haunted by a past fling that he wishes had turned into more.
Timbaland’s vocals start after the first verse — he sings, “Must be an addiction/I wanted it all, didn’t expect it to fall/Must be an affliction/I wanted to call, but I didn’t call/Now it’s keeping me up at night.”
Zayn and Timbaland co-wrote the track, while Timbaland produced it. It will reportedly be featured on Zayn’s upcoming sophomore album, though no release date for that has been set.
