PRNewsfoto/MGM ResortsOn opening night of Lady Gaga’s Enigma residency in Las Vegas last month, Celine Dion was caught on video rocking out to Gaga’s performance of “The Edge of Glory” and other songs. Gaga tells Access Hollywood that she loved Celine’s reaction so much, she actually incorporated it into her show.

“She inspired my performance,” Gaga says. “I watched that video after I did that show, and then the next night when I sang ‘The Edge of Glory’ I was doing all the moves that Céline was doing because she outperformed me while I was singing it!”

She adds, “She’s an icon! And you know what is so wonderful? She is so kind.”

And Gaga also only had good things to say about another icon who has a Las Vegas residency.

“And you know who else is so kind is Cher,” she says. “When [A Star Is Born] came out, that woman sent me, like, 600 white roses. And she said, ‘It worked for me and I believe it will work for you, the dreams that you wish will come true. From Cinderella.’”

Gaga continues her Vegas residency later this month. Last night, she won a Golden Globe for Best Original Song for “Shallow,” from the A Star Is Born soundtrack.
