“I Love Doing Dory”: Ellen DeGeneres Attends “Finding Dory” Premiere

Rodriguez/Disney Pixar(LOS ANGELES) — The stars turned out Wednesday night at the Hollywood premiere for the new movie Finding Dory, the long-awaited sequel to Finding Nemo.

Ellen DeGeneres returns as the forgetful Dory and Albert Brooks is back as the cranky Marlin. Joining them is Ty Burrell, from ABC’s Modern Family, as Bailey the Beluga whale.

DeGeneres is happy to be back, saying, “It’s beautiful, it’s fun, it’s Dory and I love doing Dory.”

Burrell confessed to ABC Radio, “When I was in college, I had — I think they were called beta fish — and I am really sad to report that they did not survive the experience with me. I was a neglectful — I was not a very good owner.

Brooks admitted to ABC Radio that he prefers dogs as pets, “I like having a dog, but I don’t know… fish. They look like they shouldn’t be kept in a little bowl.” 

Finding Dory opens Friday, June 17. It’s being released by Disney, the parent company of ABC News.
