ABC/Image Group LADua Lipa has co-written a song for the upcoming motion-capture action flick, Alita: Battle Angel.

“Swan Song” is described as an “inspiring and empowering anthem” for the film, which is produced by Avatar‘s James Cameron and Jon Landau and directed by Robert Rodriguez.

“I am intrigued at both Alita herself, and the amazing team of creators that came together to make this movie possible,” Dua says in a statement. “I see a little of myself in her, in both her bada** spirit and our shared haircut.”

She adds, “Alita is all about empowerment and standing up for who you are, which are two things that resonate with me.”

Dua also teases on Instagram that a music video for the song is coming soon.

Alita: Battle Angel hits theaters in the U.S. on February 14. It features Rosa Salazar, Christoph Waltz, Jennifer Connelly and Mahershala Ali.
