Dennis LeupoldDemi Lovato has announced a new premiere date for her YouTube documentary.
In a video message posted to her YouTube page, the singer reveals that Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated will debut October 17. It was initially set to hit the video-sharing site October 12.
“My fans have been on this journey with me since I was eight years old and have shared in some of the most important moments in my life,” Demi says in a statement. “As I embark on a new journey both personally and professionally, it was important to me to create this documentary with a platform that would allow me to continue to bring my story directly to my fans.”
Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated will chronicle the making of Demi’s new album, Tell Me You Love Me, which comes out September 29. It will also give us a glimpse into her personal struggles, including her process of getting sober and her experiences with an eating disorder.
Additionally, the doc will show some of Demi’s dating life following her split with longtime boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama in 2016.
