Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic, Inc(NEW YORK) — He’s given us quirky film comedies like Best in Show, Waiting for Guffman, A Mighty Wind and For Your Consideration, as well as the 1984 classic This Is Spinal Tap., which he co-wrote and was a co-star. Now actor/writer/director Christopher Guest has a new film comedy coming to Netflix.
Mascots will focus on the competitive world of sports mascots, and will feature familiar faces from Guest’s go-to movie players, including Jane Lynch, Parker Posey, Fred Willard, Ed Begley, Jr., Bob Balaban and John Michael Higgins.
Mascots will premiere on Netflix October 13.
