Britney posts cryptic drawing online in response to news of dad’s exit; Cher cheers...

Britney Spears' father Jamie Spears expressed his willingness to step down as his daughter's conservator on Thursday, which is something Britney and her lawyer have both been calling for for weeks. How does Britney feel about the news? She's posted a photo that might give us a clue. On Instagram, Britney posted a sweet, pastel-hued drawing of a brown-haired girl with her back to the viewer; there are flowers in her hair and a butterfly on her shoulder. There's no caption, but butterflies are often used as a symbol of freedom. Fans certainly responded that way, with one writing in the comments, "We’re one step closer to your freedom!!!!!" and another one adding, "It’s all working [itself] out in your favor! Finally after all these years! We love you and we are with you." Meanwhile, one of Britney's idols, Cher, who's been a staunch supporter of the #FreeBritney movement, tweeted, "IF I WAS BRIT I’D GET A FORENSIC ACCOUNTANT. I COULDN’T HAPPIER 4 HER IF ..

Watch GoT star Kit Harington straight up go for it, sing Train’s “Drops of...

Andrew Lipovsky/NBC For years, Jimmy Fallon has been trying to get one of his guests to participate in a bit he calls "Straight Up Goes For It" -- in which said guest would sing Train's "Drops of Jupiter." Well, it took him years to find someone willing to do it, but Thursday night, he finally succeeded. Thursday was the 1,500th episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and, after "dozens of famous people that you know and love" told Fallon no, Game of Thrones star Kit Harington finally said yes. And even though the actor best known as Jon Snow can neither sing nor play the piano, Fallon said, "He's doing it because he's cool, and he's funny and he gets it." And Harington did, indeed, "straight up go for it," pretending to play the piano decorated with candles and roses as he belted out the Grammy-winning 2001 hit. While his voice wasn't great, he made it through the entire song -- even to the "nah nah nahs" at the end -- though he did get tripped u..

Listen to Dua Lipa & Elton John mash up four of his songs in...

Interscope Earlier this week, Elton John and Dua Lipa teased their joint single, "Cold Heart," and from a snippet, it sounded like a mashup of two Elton singles: 1990's "Sacrifice" and the 1972 classic, "Rocket Man." "Cold Heart" is now out and it turns out the track, created by Australian dance duo Pnau, is actually a mashup of four Elton songs. In addition to "Sacrifice" and "Rocket Man," the song also includes snippets of Elton's 1983 single "Kiss the Bride" and a 1976 track called "Where's the Shoorah?" In the track, Elton sings the "Sacrifice" line, "Cold, cold heart/hard done by you/Some things look better baby/Just passing through." Then Dua follows by singing a line from "Rocket Man" -- "And I think it's gonna be a long, long time 'til touchdown brings me 'round again to find/I'm not the man they think I am at home" -- plus a line from "Kiss the Bride": "And this is what I should have said/I thought it but I kept it hid." Elton and Dua h..

Jessie J shares health update: “I cannot get through a full day without pain”

Ashley Osborn Back in December, Jessie J revealed that she was treated for Ménière’s disease, a disorder affecting the inner ear that causes severe dizziness, ringing in the ear and hearing loss. Since then, she's been dealing with a mystery throat ailment that makes it painful for her to sing. Thursday, she shared an update on her progress. "Yesterday I tried to sing a song I can usually sing with ease, and I couldn’t. The issue I’m having isn’t my voice but is effecting [sic] my voice," the 33-year-old British pop star wrote on Instagram, adding that she then "sobbed. For hours." "6 months in and I still cannot get through a full day without pain in my mid neck / throat," she continued. "Some days are so much better than others." Jessie goes on to explain that "95% of the time I am good. Positive and strong. Which is what I portray on here mostly. But that 5% will grow if not acknowledged. So yes, sometimes like yesterday. I break. All hope disappears. I feel so lost and so..
