Miss Elizabeth

Hi! I’m Miss Elizabeth, and you can hear me weekday mornings on Moose and Friends on Q102. Our specialty is helping you start your day with a little energy, a lot of laughs, and maybe just a bit of chaos.

I officially began my Radio DJ career in July 2025 with Powell Broadcasting. Before that, I spent 10 years as an elementary school teacher- third and fifth grade- in Des Moines and Council Bluffs, IA. Turns out, talking all day and keeping people engaged is great training for radio!

I am a native of Sioux City- I grew up in Morningside and graduated from East High School in 2008. During my college years, I lived in Maryville, MO, before moving to Sioux Falls, SD where I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from Augustana University. Growing up, I was all about creativity and competition— sports have always been a huge part of my life. I placed in the top eight in the nation in track and field throwing events four separate times- the shot put, discus, and javelin. I also spent 10+ years as a competitive softball pitcher.

When I’m not at the station, life is busy (and loud!) with my husband, Cole, and our house of three redheaded boys—Cael, Ryan, and Arlo. The dog is, you guessed it, also a boy- our 3-year-old Basset Hound, Rudy, definitely runs the house. I love traveling, cooking, and being my son’s biggest cheerleader in their many sports and activities. I feel happiest with a house full of food, family, and friends.
