Greg HarrisZAYN X VERSUS, the new capsule collection that Zayn Malik has designed for Versace, is now available online, and will arrive in stores June 28. Zayn says he’s especially thrilled to have done this, because as a kid, he could only afford fake Versace designer clothing.
“When I was a kid growing up in Bradford, England, wearing knock-off Versace, I never thought that one day I would actually be designing my own collection,” Zayn says in a statement. “Thanks so much to Donatella Versace for allowing me to do the coolest thing ever.”
Donatella, the Artistic Director for Versus, says, “When I see this collection, I see Zayn. His attitude, his energy and his individuality are in every single piece. I am so proud of what we have achieved together. The campaign defines everything I love about the new generation today.”
The campaign features Zayn and his girlfriend Gigi Hadid‘s sister, Bella Hadid, wearing some of the new pieces, which include bomber jackets, parkas, slip dresses, track pants, eco-leather pants and jackets, t-shirt dresses, backpacks and more.
