(LOS ANGELES) — Snoop Dogg, RZA and Common are lending their voices to The Simpsons’ 600th episode, reports Entertainment Weekly.
Empire‘s Taraji P. Henson and Keegan-Michael Key of Key & Peele fame are also slated to guest star on the episode, said to be a hip-hop spoof of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby titled “The Great Phatsby.”
Henson will portray a character named Praline, similar to her iconic Empire character, Cookie, while Key is set to play a wealthy rapper named Jazzy James, who’s also Lisa Simpson’s boyfriend.
Snoop, Common, and RZA will be playing themselves in what will be The Simpsons’ first ever hour-long episode.
“We wanted the Mt. Rushmore of rap, and we got it. They represent different moods and different aspects of the history of hip-hop,” Simpsons producer Dan Greaney, who also wrote the episode, told EW.
“The Great Phatsby” premieres next month.
