Keep Cool/ RCA RecordsNormani has doubled her fans’ pleasure by releasing not one but two collaborations with Calvin Harris.
The first one, “Checklist,” also features Nigerian singer WizKid, who you may remember from Drake‘s smash “One Dance.” The reggae-flavored track finds Normani complaining about a guy who’s trying to keep her “like a checklist.”
The second track, “Slow Down,” features Normani asking her lover to, well, slow down. “Could you just be real?/Don’t be scared to feel this,” she sings. “We can make the world go spin/Could you let me feel this?”
These two tracks are the latest releases from Normani, who scored a huge hit with her Khalid duet “Love Lies.” She’s also released tracks with Quavo, Jessie Reyez and Kehlani.
Normani is one of the performers at Tuesday night’s Tidal X concert in Brooklyn, NY, along with Lil Wayne, Ms. Lauryn Hill and others. All proceeds will go to non-profit organizations focused on criminal justice reform.
