Image Group LA/ABCLater this month at the Forum in Inglewood, C.A., Selena Gomez will host WE Day California. It’s an event that’s part of a global movement spotlightings young people who are taking on challenging social issues and making a difference in their communities.
The singer has been participating in WE Day for the past three years. She previously hosted the first-ever U.S. broadcast of WE day in 2015.
“The electricity of an arena full of thousands of young people who are making real change in the world is like nothing I’ve ever experienced,” Selena says in a statement. “I am grateful to be a part of such a supportive community and hope I can inspire the kids at WE Day just as they continue to inspire me.”
The April 27 event will also feature Demi Lovato, Alessia Cara, Alicia Keys, DJ Khaled and Nico & Vinz.
