ABC/Jeff Neira (LOS ANGELES) — Tyrese reportedly checked himself into a Los Angeles hospital Thursday, complaining of chest pains after being in court with his ex-wife all day.
Sources close to the 38-year-old singer and actor tell TMZ that after Tyrese left the courthouse and returned to his hotel, he started to complain about the pain, and was also said to be feeling dehydrated. He went to the emergency room to play it safe.
According to the report, Tyrese underwent tests and was given fluids.
The news comes after Tyrese spent a full day in court battling his ex, Norma Gibson, over allegations he abused their ten-year-old daughter, Shayla, supposedy by severely spanking her. Gibson also accused Tyrese of hiring a private eye to spy on her and is seeking a permanent restraining order against him, as well as full physical and legal custody of their daughter.
