ABC(NEW YORK) — ABC has closed the curtain on Nashville, but fans of the country-music-themed drama may have reason to hope.
Entertainment Weekly reports CMT is close to a deal to pick up Nashville for a fifth season. The magazine adds that there may be a Hulu streaming component involved in the potential agreement.
Nashville aired its final episode on ABC last month after four seasons, a cliffhanger that ended with the plane in which Hayden Panettiere’s Juliette Barnes was a passenger going missing.
