ABC/Lou RoccoGet well soon, Pink. The singer has been forced to postpone her concert in Sydney, Australia Friday due to an upper respiratory infection.
Pink announced the news and apologized to fans on Twitter.
“Hi my Sydney friends. It is with great frustration that I bring you this news š Friday’s show will be postponed,” she wrote. “I was hoping a couple of days of rest would help me kick this sick, but not at the speed I was hoping for. I appreciate your well wishes and understanding + I’m sorry.”
Live Nation confirmed in a statement that Pink is “suffering from an upper respiratory infection and has received medical advice that she should not perform in order to facilitate her recovery.”
Pink showed she’s taking her recovery seriously by asking for suggestions for health and wellness shops in the area.
“Sydney friends: does anyone have a favorite place that makes wellness shots and fresh juices for when I get there? Thanks in advance,” she tweeted. “And how do we feel about Neti-pots. They scare me.”
Pink was supposed to play Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena Friday night as part of the Australian leg of her Beautiful Trauma tour. Her Saturday show at the same venue is still set to go on as planned.
