Another pop star is stepping into the shoe business. GQ reports Nick Jonas has teamed up with Creative Recreation to design a capsule footwear collection.
The six-piece line includes low-top and high-top sneakers with a sleek, futuristic aesthetic. The kicks feature the $95 Carda — a white low-top with perforated detailing and a pop of yellow on the back –nd the $150 Carda Hi, a black high-top with a white-grey stripe over the top.
“Some of the shoes in my line are based off of pre-existing styles, but I’ve taken them, and flipped them to given them my personal touch,” Nick says. “And I designed them with an eye toward where I’m going, not only as an actor and musician and performer, but as a creative person.”
The shoe collection goes on sale February 11.
Prior to Nick’s announcement, Jason Derulo and Zayn also announced shoe collabs. Jason released a line with LVL XIII [pronounced Level 13] and Zayn partnered with Giuseppe Zanotti for his shoe collection. Katy Perry has her own footwear line dropping February 16.
