Capitol RecordsOne Direction‘s hiatus has proven that each individual member, both past and present, has plenty of fans. The latest proof? Niall Horan has just topped Billboard’s Adult Pop Songs chart, and he’s the first member of the group to do it.
Billboard reports that Niall’s hit “Slow Hands” has reached #1 on the chart, which is based on radio airplay. The closest any other 1D member had gotten was #2, when Zayn Malik teamed up with Taylor Swift for the duet “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever.”
Harry Styles made it to #12 on the chart with “Sign of the Times,” while Liam Payne reached #15 with “Strip that Down.” Louis Tomlinson reached #31 with “Back to You,” featuring Bebe Rexha.
As a group, One Direction hit #1 on the Adult Pop Songs chart in 2014 with “Story of My Life.”
“Slow Hands” previously hit #1 on Billboard’s Pop Songs chart, too. Both Liam and Zayn topped that particular chart as well.
