‘N SYNC to reunite this year, but not musically

Larry Busacca/Getty Images for MTV‘N SYNC never actually broke up: they simply went on hiatus.  Well, according to member Lance Bass, the old gang is getting back together this year…but unfortunately, not to make new music.

Lance tells Entertainment Tonight that all five members of the group — that’s him, Justin Timberlake, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and JC Chasez — will reunite to jointly accept their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame “at some point” in 2017.

“We just have to decide on a date. We’re terrible at planning things,” he says.

Lance also says that the group is coming out with a “really cool vinyl edition” of their 1998 holiday album Home for Christmas. 

Despite the fact that ‘N SYNC hasn’t been a group for years, it’s not like the guys never communicate, though — Lance reveals, “We talk daily. All five of us.” 

What about?  “I would have to shoot you if you saw the stuff we wrote to each other,” he laughs. “We bag on each other all day long. We find pictures on Instagram of us from the ’90s and so we’re always giving it to each other.”
