According to Deadline, Miley has signed on as an executive producer of Lost in America, a documentary about homeless youth.

She’ll also appear in the film, along with Halle Berry, Rosario Dawson, Jewel, Jon Bon Jovi, Sanaa Lathan, and Rebecca Gayheart-Dane. It’s directed by Rotimi Rainwater, a former homeless youth.

Lost in America is an important film to me and my Happy Hippie Foundation because it helps to build our understanding and compassion for homeless youth,” Miley says in a statement. “And I think if we had that acceptance and compassion, we could change and brighten the futures of these young people.”

The film doesn’t yet have a release date.
