Martin Garrix and Dua Lipa Are “Scared to Be Lonely” in New Video

1018

Stmpd Rcrds/Sony Music International/RCA RecordsMartin Garrix and Dua Lipa have debuted the moody video for their new song, “Scared to Be Lonely.”

The clip, filmed in Scotland, juxtaposes scenes of loneliness and intimacy. Martin stares wistfully out the window of a dark, empty house, while Dua sings alone in the middle of the woods at night. In between, we see shots of a couple in a steamy embrace.

“Is the only reason you’re holding me tonight/’Cause we’re scared to be lonely/Do we need somebody/Just to feel that we’re all right/Is the only reason you’re holding me tonight/’Cause we’re scared to be lonely,” Dua sings on the track.

“Scared to Be Lonely” follows Martin’s last collaboration with Bebe Rexha, “In the Name of Love.”
