Courtesy REEBOKIn addition to being a rapper, Machine Gun Kelly is also a sometime actor and model.  His latest gig?  Fronting Reebok’s new Club C sneaker campaign.

Originally offered in 1985 as a tennis shoe, the Club C was quickly adopted as streetwear.  This new campaign ushers in what Reebok calls the “rebirth” of one its “most celebrated OG silhouettes.”  Kelly will wear the kicks on his European and U.S. tours this summer in support of his new album, Bloom.

In a statement, Kelly said, “This is going to be the best summer, not only because of my new album and the tour, but also this partnership with Reebok Classic.”

He adds, “It’s awesome to have a brand like Reebok support what you stand for as well as your creative vision, and I’m excited to show you what a Reebok and Machine Gun Kelly collaboration is all about.”

Meanwhile, Reebok’s director of global entertainment marketing praises the “Bad Things” rapper for his “great energy” and “connection to his fans through his message.”  Adds the exec, “His dynamism truly connects to our brand and really comes through in everything he touches.”
