Credit: Brendan WalterLorde‘s tradition of covering famous artists in their hometowns continued Thursday night when she performed the Drake song “Shot for Me” during her concert in Toronto. You can watch fan-recorded footage of the cover now on YouTube.
Earlier this week, Lorde performed two Kanye West songs in his hometown of Chicago. Her recent live tributes haven’t been limited to rap artists, either — during her show in St. Paul, Minnesota last week, she covered Prince‘s “I Would Die 4 U.”
Lorde is currently on tour in support of her sophomore album, Melodrama. The trek continues Saturday night in Twenty One Pilots‘ hometown of Columbus, Ohio — perhaps she’ll perform a verse from “Stressed Out.”
