Republic RecordsLiam Payne and Colombian singer J Balvin team up on the new bilingual single, “Familiar.”
The catchy tune, which combines an R&B groove and a Latin beat, is a flirty come-on that alternates between Liam singing in English and J Balvin singing in Spanish.
“Ooh I just wanted to get your name/But if it’s cool I wanna get inside your brain/Can we get famili-famili-famili-familiar/I’m feelin’ I’m feelin’ I’m feelin’ ya,” Liam sings on the chorus.
The new collab follows Liam’s previous hit, “Strip That Down,” featuring Quavo, and his song with Rita Ora from the Fifty Shades Freed soundtrack, “For You.”
