Republic RecordsHailee Steinfeld has a released a new song from her upcoming film, the Transformers spin-off, Bumblebee.
“Back to Life,” a joyous ‘80s-inspired track, is about experiencing a love that motivates you to be your best self.
“Hailee’s song beautifully captures the central theme of the movie that inspired it,” Bumblebee director Travis Knight says in a statement. “‘Back to Life’ is a stirring, high-spirited tribute to the redemptive and healing power of love.”
Hailee will perform “Back to Life” at the MTV EMAs on Sunday, November 4, in addition to hosting the awards show.
Bumblebee hits theaters December 21.
