The producer and songwriter is launching a new talent competition show called All Girl Band. Linda, along with other yet-to-be-announced female rock legends, will tour iconic music cities across the country in search of the best undiscovered female musicians.

“We are looking for authentic, timeless musicians who can fill the void in the music industry,” Linda says in a statement. “We want women who don’t fit the mold of your typical pop star. We’re looking for the female Rolling Stones.”

The contestants will be narrowed down to the 50 best singers, guitarists, bassists, keyboardists and drummers, all of whom will battle it out to win a spot in the band. The winning members will be signed to a record contract, have the chance to write and record an album with Linda, and embark on a tour.

Linda started her career in the 4 Non Blondes and went on to write songs for artists including Adele, Pink, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Miley Cyrus and more.  Among her best-known compositions: Pink’s “Get the Party Started,” Christina’s “Beautiful” and Gwen Stefani’s “What You Waiting For.”

All Girl Band begins production in 2018.
