(HOLLYWOOD) — Jodie Foster received the 2,580th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday.
On hand for the celebration was Kristen Stewart, who played the daughter of Foster’s character in the 2002 thriller Panic Room.
Stewart, 26, ran down Foster’s accomplishments: “She’s a baller on every level…she won Oscars, she became a filmmaker herself, she created a family, and still is just normal and cool and kind.”
With Mother’s Day just around the corner, Foster dedicated her star to moms everywhere. “We do things like this for our mothers, and my mother can’t be here today but she’s here in spirit. She would just be so happy to be here,” the actress remarked.
Foster’s accomplishments range from her role as a teen in Taxi Driver to her appearance in the 2013 film Elysium. She’s won two Oscars, for her performances in The Accused and The Silence of the Lambs.
Foster directed the new drama Money Monster, starring George Clooney and Julia Roberts. It’s out May 13.
