John Heller/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) — Janet Waldo, who provided the voice of Judy Jetson on the show, The Jetsons, has died, ABC News has confirmed.
Lucy Lee, Waldo’s daughter, confirmed that the actress died on Sunday morning.
She was 97 years old.
According to Lee, Waldo had been diagnosed with a benign but inoperable brain tumor five years ago.
Waldo’s career spanned several decades, though it was her voice work for which she was most famous. In addition to playing Judy Jetson for the series, TV movies and subsequent film, she also voiced characters in The Flintstones, Josie and the Pussycats and Alvin & the Chipmunks, among others.
