A source tells People that the Lord of the Rings star is “ready to settle down with Katy,” adding, “She hasn’t put any pressure on their relationship lately, and everything is just easy. Being with Katy makes Orlando very happy.”
The source dishes that Bloom is “like a new person now,” adding, “He has matured a lot. He realized that being single isn’t that great after all. His relationship with Katy wasn’t right the first time around, but it very much is now.”
The two recently attended the amFAR gala in L.A., where Katy was honored for her philanthropy, and both of them contributed $5,000 to the cause. They made their red carpet debut last month at a charity event in Monaco.
Earlier this month, a source told People that “everyone would be excited if they got engaged,” adding, “Katy is wonderful!”
Bloom was previously married to actress Miranda Kerr; they share a son, Flynn. Katy was previously married to comedian Russell Brand; they got divorced in 2012.
