“I mean, I think it’s just that: an evolution of sorts,” Dan tells ABC Radio. “Sonically, it’s a departure, lyrically it’s a departure……it’s a departure but an arrival, [too].  And it retains a lot of things [from before]. So yeah, Evolve felt like the right title.”

In addition to his band, Dan Reynolds’ family also has evolved: He and his wife welcomed twin girls Gia James and Coco Rae this past March.  So how are things going with the babies?

“So far, so good,” he tells ABC Radio. “I can’t tell you much, [but] they’re fraternal, they’re lovely, they’re very different already.”   The non-identical twins join big sister Arrow Eve in Dan’s family.

He and Imagine Dragons will kick off a North American tour in support of Evolve on September 26 in Phoenix.
