Courtesy Big Machine RecordsTaylor Swift is featured on “Babe,” the new track from superstar country duo Sugarland, which is available now.

Taylor co-wrote the song with Train frontman Pat Monahan, and offered it to Sugarland this past fall, following the announcement that the duo were reuniting for their first album in six years.

The breakup tune chides a cheating lover for ruining a relationship, as Jennifer and Taylor sing, “We said no one else/How could you do this, babe?/You really blew this, babe/We ain’t getting through this one, babe/This is the last time I’ll ever call you, babe.”

“We’ve never put someone else’s song on a Sugarland record, but we were immediately interested in ‘Babe’ the first time we heard it!” Jennifer Nettles says in a statement. “This one really felt like it belonged so we saved it for the final afternoon of our recording session; a special time for us.”

Sugarland member Kristian Bush adds, “The biggest compliment was when [Taylor] heard our take on the track and emailed us to say she wanted to be a part of it!”

Jennifer adds that the collaboration is “the perfect combination of mutual admiration for each other and mutual admiration for great songs,” noting, “As artists, we really see the world through a similar lens.”

Bigger, Sugarland’s first album in six years, is due June 8.
