Columbia RecordsAfter kicking Ed Sheeran out of the #1 spot on the charts in their U.K. homeland, Harry Styles has now done the same Down Under.
Billboard reports that Harry’s new single “Sign of the Times” has debuted at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart in Australia. That means Ed’s “Shape of You” has been pushed to second place after an amazing 13 weeks on top.
Harry’s now the second One Direction member to top the Australian charts as a solo artist, following Zayn Malik, whose “Pillowtalk” hit #1 in February of 2016.
Later today, we’ll find out how Harry’s single did on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It’s likely to enter in the Top 5.
