Timothy Kuratek/CBS(LOS ANGELES) — Broadway veterans Lin-Manuel Miranda, Audra McDonald, Jane Krakowski and Jesse Tyler Ferguson helped James Corden tackle New York City traffic in the latest installment of “Carpool Karaoke” on Monday night’s The Late Late Show.
Corden, who will be making his debut as host of the 2016 Tony Awards on June 12, enlisted their help to get him to the show and tackled tunes like “What’s Your Name, Man?” from Miranda’s hit musical Hamilton, as well as other popular show tunes, including “Seasons of Love,” from Rent. The latter eliciting a collective “Awww” from the group.
McDonald is a multi-Tony Award-winner who is currently heading the cast of Shuffle Along; Krakowski appears in the Broadway production She Loves Me; and Ferguson stars in the one-man-show, Fully Committed.
