To coincide with his Endless Summer tour, the rapper has launched the Endless Summer Fund to help under-served youth in California’s Bay Area.

“The Bay Area raised me and made me everything I am, so it means a lot to me to be able to come home and give back,” G said, according to Billboard. “And although it’s one of the most beautiful and popular places to live in in the country, there are still around 1,300 homeless kids sleeping outside every night.”

G-Eazy hosted the Fund’s inaugural event on Friday at San Francisco’s Larkin Street Youth Services. He teamed up with Puma to donate $50,000 to the organization.

“Larkin Street is one of the oldest and biggest homeless youth centers in the region, so it means everything to be able to help these kids by donating resources,” he said.

At the event, free haircuts were also provided to kids along with Puma gear.

The Endless Summer tour continues tonight in San Diego.
