“Ew!” Britney Spears joins Jimmy Fallon on ‘The Tonight Show’

Andrew Lipovsky/NBCBritney Spears made a surprise appearance on Monday’s The Tonight Show, where she joined host Jimmy Fallon for the show’s recurring segment, “Ew.”

The bit centers on a girl named Sara — played by Fallon — who hosts a show on Teen Nick called “Ew.” Sara is generally unimpressed with everything and if she doesn’t like something, she says “ew.”

In the segment, recorded during the New York City dates of her Piece of Me Tour, Britney appears as Sara’s BFF, Abby, whom she met at sleep-away camp. Now they’re having their first-ever sleepover.

“You look great and all your poison ivy rashes from camp” are “all gone,” Abby tells Sara.

“The nurse went through two trays of Calamine lotion,” says Sara. “It was nasty.”

Later, the girls then mull over whether they’ll go back to camp next summer. After Abby points out that they’ll be the oldest campers there, Sara notes they’re “still too young to be counselors”

“It’s like I’m not a girl,” continues Sara, leading Abby to sing, “not yet a woman” — a nod to Spears’ 2001 hit.

The two then played an “Ew!” speed round where Fallon holds up pictures and asks Britney to rate items like nacho-flavored ice cream, those weird pop-up phone holder things, Squishies, and sun-dried tomatoes, all of which Abby thinks are “ew,” as opposed to Steve Carell and Las Vegas, which are “cute.”

“I would like, totally live there,” says Abby, in a plug for Spears’ ongoing residency, which she’ll pick up in 2019 at the Park Theater inside the Monte Carlo Resort.

Spears’ Piece of Me Tour continues with a three-night stand in Hollywood, Florida Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
