Ed Sheeran, Drake, Bruno Mars lead early American Music Award nominees

Dick Clark ProductionsEd Sheeran, Drake and Bruno Mars lead the early nominees for the 45th American Music Awards.   

Each has three nods in the top six categories announced so far, including Artist of the Year, Favorite Male Artist, and Favorite Pop/Rock Album and Song.  R&B singer Ciara revealed the nominees on ABC’s Good Morning America. The rest of the nominees will be announced later this morning.

Fans can vote for their favorite artists via Billboard.com beginning today at 10:30 a.m. ET.

The American Music Awards take place Sunday, November 19, broadcast live at 8:00 PM ET/7:00 CT on ABC.
