Watch Ed Sheeran in his high school production of ‘Grease’

Stefania D'Alessandro/Getty Images If you’re a hopelessly devoted fan of Ed Sheeran, you’ll probably want to place your bids on this latest auction. A DVD of a 15-year-old Ed in his high school performance of Grease is now up for auction as part of a sale of music memorabilia on Omega Auctions. He may be a star now, but back then he didn't nab the lead role. "This amazing footage spans two DVDs with nearly two hours of acting and singing as performed by Ed and school friends back in 2006,” the description on the Omega website reads. “Ed plays a major part in the performance as the character 'Putzie' or 'Rump,' who was one of the T-Birds." In the footage, which Omega says has never before been seen publicly, Ed “has a number of lines” and has a “major backing singer/dancer role for all the songs” in the production at Thomas Hills High School in Framlingham, U.K. You’ll hear him perform a duet of "Those Magic Changes" and a solo of the song "Mooning." ..

Shervin Lainez The three brothers who make up the trio AJR are in their 20s, but their latest hit, "Way Less Sad," is built around a sample of a song that came out before they were born. But the group says the legendary artist who wrote the song fully approves of what they did with it. "Way Less Sad" includes a portion of the 1975 top-10 hit "My Little Town" by Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Simon & Garfunkel. "That was one of our favorite songs growing up, we were huge fans of [Simon & Garfunkel]," AJR's Jack Met tells ABC Audio. "And in 'My Little Town,' the part that we sampled comes at the last three seconds of a song, which is the fadeout," he explains. "So to even hear the melody that we sampled, you have to bump your phone up to, like, max volume!" "We always felt like, 'This is the catchiest part of the song. I'm not sure why Paul Simon didn't kinda move it back to the beginning,'" Jack continues. "So we said, 'What a great opportunity..

"It's interesting because we were presented the opportunity to perform at the halftime at the Super Bowl and it was in Tampa, my home town," Nick tells ET. "At the time we came from the era of, we loved the Whitney Houston rendition of the national anthem. And for us, we got the choice and we passed on the halftime,” he laughs. BSB performed the national anthem before the game instead. "But it was a memorable experience for everyone," Nick adds. "And everyone was able to share [the stage] and NSYNC did a great job at halftime, and I like to say we did a really good job at the national anthem as well." Now, Nick says, he’d love to do the halftime show in the future, and says it would be "pretty cool" if BSB and NSYNC did one together. As previously reported, Nick, AJ McLean and..
