Demi Lovato, Lizzo to headline 2021 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival

Rich Fury/Getty Images for OBB Media Demi Lovato and Lizzo are among the headliners for the 2021 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, which will take place October 8-17 of this year. The 2020 edition of the annual event was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While Demi has performed on numerous TV shows, this is the first major live performance they've announced since the release of their album Dancing with the Devil...The Art of Starting Over. It's also the first headlining show they've announced since they came out as non-binary. As for Lizzo, she's already booked appearances at the Bonnaroo, Firefly and Outside Lands festivals, starting in September. Other artists on the 2021 lineup include Stevie Nicks, Foo Fighters, H.E.R., Melissa Etheridge, Ludacris, Norah Jones and numerous veteran rock, jazz and blues artists. Put your records on again: Corinne Bailey Rae re-issuing debut album on vinyl

UMe You've heard the cover version -- now listen to the real thing. Corinne Bailey Rae is reissuing her self-titled debut album on vinyl on August 13, marking the first time it'll be available on this format since its release in 2006. The album, which has sold over four million copies worldwide, features the hit song "Put Your Records On." A cover version of that song has lately become a big hit for Ritt Momney, the stage name of Utah singer/songwriter Jack Rutter. Corinne completely approved of Jack's version and even gave him some advice about dealing with sudden fame. The success of "Put Your Records On" brought Corinne numerous awards and three Grammy nominations, including Record and Song of the Year and Best New Artist. In addition to the original track listing, which includes "Put Your Records On" and three other singles -- "Like a Star," "I'd Like To" and "Trouble Sleeping" -- the vinyl album will be issued with a bonus track called "Another Rainy Day...

The Glasgow Times got a preview of an interview with Ed, which will air tomorrow on Scotland's Clyde 1 radio station. In the interview, Ed describes how he picked out a house for Lewis in his hometown of Glasgow, Scotland. "Lewis goes, I'm looking to find a house' and I was like, 'Oh, cool,'" Ed says in the interview. In the new film, which has just dropped its first trailer, Buster Moon the koala, played by Matthew McConaughey, and his animal pals are trying to get their act into the Crystal Tower Theater in Redshore City, a stand-in for Las Vegas. To do so, they have to persuade the head of Crystal Entertainment, a ruthless gangster wolf named Jimmy Crystal -- played by Bobby Cannavale -- that they're worth watching. The gang lies and tells Crystal that they can get reclusive lion rock star Clay Calloway, played by U2's Bono, to appear in their show, and Crystal goes for it because his spoiled daughter, Porsha, played by Halsey, wants to meet him. Ahead of the highly anticipated visual -- in which the singer transforms into a blonde, glam rock vampire -- Ed shared a spoiler. Apparently, he jumps off a building -- and no, he doesn't have a stunt double to take the damage. Taking to Instagram Wednesday, the Grammy winner shared a video of himself being fitted with a stunt vest as he remarks to the camera, "I'm terrified of heights and I'm about to... jump off a roof." "I don't really know how I've been talked into this," Ed chuckled. "Who knew?" He also shared a brief snippet of the "Bad Habits" chorus. Britney's court-appointed counsel had requested that Britney be free to discuss any aspect of her conservatorship without interruption, and that she did, speaking for 30 minutes straight to Judge Brenda Penny. After detailing her many grievances against her conservators and her family, she asked for the judge to end the "abusive" conservatorship, saying it was her "wish and her dream." An attorney for Britney's mother, Lynne Spears, said it was "very brave" of the pop star to speak out, and that her mother would like a plan of action to be put in place to address Britney's concerns. Superior Court while explaining why she wanted to end her conservatorship, an attorney for Jamie Spears, Britney's father, has responded. Speaking non-stop for 30 minutes, Britney detailed a laundry list of grievances against her father, her family and her conservators, saying, "I just want my life back." She claimed, among other things, that she's been forbidden to get married and have a baby, has been forced to go on tour against her wishes, and has been threatened with various punishments if she didn't do as her conservators said. Britney also said she wants to sue her family. "I truly believe this conservatorship is abusive. I don’t feel like I can live a full life,” said Britney, and asked for the judge to end the conservatorship without her having to undergo a psychiatric examination.
