Lucas Garrido Halsey is bringing her new album to a theater near you. The singer and director Colin Tilley have created an hour-long "film experience" set to the music of If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power, due out August 27. Tickets will go on sale August 3 for IMAX showings of the film. The other cities and theaters will be announced soon. The trailer for the film is out now, and comes with a warning that it includes scenes of a graphic nature and is intended for mature audiences. It features Halsey playing a variety of different women -- or perhaps they're the same woman in different stages of her life -- in what looks like the 1700s or 1800s. There are various scenes of sex, death, pregnancy and birth, with Halsey wearing some very spooky makeup. "This woman will not go quietly," we hear a male voice say, as Halsey sings a song with the repeated refrain, "All of this is temporary." That's why she's partnering with the White House to encourage people her age to get vaccinated. According to a White House official, Olivia will visit the White House Wednesday and meet with President Biden and Dr. Anthony Fauci. She'll also record videos in which she'll stress how important it is that young people get vaccinated, and answer questions that young people may have about the shot. Those videos will be posted on Olivia's socials, as well as the White House's social pages. It's all part of the Biden administration's effort to get more young people educated and vaccinated. One of the singles, titled "Can You Handle My Love??", will be accompanied by a video, which premieres Wednesday at noon ET. The new tunes are the first preview of WALK THE MOON's upcoming album, titled Heights. Heights, the fifth WALK THE MOON album, will be the follow-up to 2017's What If Nothing, which spawned the single "One Foot." Olivia's "Drivers License" is the most-streamed and most-consumed song of the first half of 2021, with just over 582 million on-demand streams. "Butter" and "Dynamite" by K-pop superstars BTS are the two best-selling digital songs of the first half of the year; "Drivers License" is number six on that list. Taylor is the top-selling artist of 2021, based on total album sales: She's sold 934,000 copies of her various albums across all formats. The song, "Beautiful," will appear on Anne-Marie's sophomore album, Therapy, due out July 23. It's the follow-up to her debut, 2018's Speak Your Mind, which included her smash Marshmello collab, "FRIENDS." Anne-Marie and Ed co-wrote "Beautiful" with chart-topping super producer Max Martin. It's the second single she's released that she co-wrote with Ed; the first was "2002." A self-empowerment anthem about accepting yourself as you are, "Beautiful" ends with a guest appearance by the children of one of Anne-Marie's friends.
