Bebe Rexha scores two CMA nominations for “Meant to Be”

Sophie Muller / Courtesy of Warner Bros. RecordsBebe Rexha’s collaboration with Florida Georgia Line, “Meant to Be,” was a huge pop and country hit, and now the country award nominations are starting to roll in.

Tuesday morning, “Meant to Be” received three nominations for the 52nd annual Country Music Association Awards, including Single of the Year and Musical Event of the Year. 

These are the first-ever CMA nods for Bebe. Additionally, Florida Georgia Line received their sixth nomination for Vocal Duo of the Year.

The 52nd annual CMA Awards, hosted by Carrie Underwood and country star Brad Paisley for the 11th year in a row, air November 14, live on ABC.

The nods come days after “Meant to Be” won the MuchMusic Video Award for Best Collaboration during a ceremony in Toronto, CA.
