ABC/Craig SjodinTonight is the start of the Dancing with the Stars two-night finale, and Fifth Harmony’s Normani Kordei is one of the three finalists all competing for the Mirrorball Trophy. Normani and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy have captivated audiences all season with their flawless footwork, but Val says he hopes to continue hanging out with Normani and Fifth Harmony in the future.
“I have a lifetime ticket for free, for the rest of my life for Fifth Harmony,” Val laughs. “I better!”
“Yeah,” agrees Normani. “He’s like a fifth member!”
Of course, Fifth Harmony used to actually have five members, but Camila Cabello left last year for a solo career. The group has continued on as a quartet, and has a new album coming later this year.
Meanwhile, Val says that after the finale, in order to keep hanging out with Normani and the girls, he may show off his rapping sills.
“It won’t hopefully be the last time we’re gonna dance together and perform,” he laughs. “Who knows? Maybe I’ll do a feature on one of their tracks!”
If it seems unlikely that a professional ballroom dancer like Val can also rap, think again.
Normani laughs, “No! He has bars, too!
