Dave Meyers/Republic RecordsIf you’ve noticed that Ariana Grande hasn’t been doing much promotion for her new music recently, it’s for good reason.

In response to a fan on Twitter who questioned her lack of promo appearances, Ariana tweeted that overworking herself in the past “destroyed my mental health and was horrible for me.”

She continued, “I don’t remember anything ab [out] those years of my life and am doing so much better now. Career wise and health wise. Stop coming for me and my team when I’ve never been better literally in any department. LITERALLY.”

It seems her music is doing just fine without the extra promo. Her latest single, “God Is a Woman,” debuted at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Her new album, Sweetener, comes out August 17.

Meanwhile, Ariana’s fiancé Pete Davidson wiped out his entire Instagram page in order to rid himself of “negative energy.”

In a message posted to his Instagram Story, he explained, “No there’s nothing wrong. No nothing happened. No there’s nothing cryptic about anything. I just don’t wanna be on Instagram anymore. Or on any social media platform.”

He continued, “The internet is an evil place and it doesn’t make me feel good. Why should I spend any time on negative energy when my real life is f****** lit. The fact that I even have to say this proves my point. I love you all and I’m sure I’ll be back at some point. your neighborhood goon, Pete.”
