All rights reserved.Back in 2011, on the ABC special A Very Gaga Thanksgiving, Lady Gaga told Katie Couric, “The day I get married, no matter how many helicopters are flying over that chapel, they’re not getting one picture and I’m not selling one photo.” But it’s going to be hard to keep her nuptials under wraps if what Entertainment Tonight is reporting about her wedding turns out to be true.
While Gaga hasn’t really spoken openly about her relationship with her fiancé, Christian Carino, a source tells ET that the singer wants her wedding to be “hugely elaborate.” But there’s no time table for when the wedding will take place.
“Gaga is incredibly elated about her engagement, but because of how busy she’s been with [A Star Is Born], she can’t even begin to think about a wedding,” dishes the source. “Gaga’s first love and one of the most important things in her life are her fans. She doesn’t want to let anyone down by not giving 100% right now.”
Apparently, Gaga and Christian have “definitely talked about a wedding” but won’t start planning it until Gaga gets some time off from her busy schedule. That won’t happen any time soon, though — thanks to A Star Is Born‘s success, she’s got to get through awards season, including the Golden Globes, Grammys and, the way things are going, maybe even the Oscars.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez tells Extra that some time ago, she and Will Smith were planning to star in a remake of A Star Is Born. “[We] talked about it, talked about developing the script. It just never…projects are like that,” she says.
J-Lo adds, “I’m really proud of Bradley Cooper…and watching Gaga do her thing in the movie, it’s just great. It’s perfect.”
