ABC/Tyler GoldenJohn Legend and Chrissy Teigen have named their new baby after another music legend.
The singer and supermodel revealed that the name of their second child is Miles Theodore Stephens and posted photos on social media.
“Miles of course is the same name as the great Miles Davis and Chrissy really liked the name Theodore, so we put it all together and had Miles Theodore Stephens,” Legend tells Eonline.com. “When he came out and we hung out with him for a little while, we were like, ‘He looks like a Miles.'” Their son was born on May 16.
“We’re so excited to have him in the family now,” he added. “It’s nice to have our little family of four now.”
Teigen posted a photo of baby Miles on Instagram and commented, “Hello, world! This is Miles Theodore Stephens — We are drowning in his little peeps and nuzzles. Our household feels overwhelmed with love. Thank you for all your well wishes!”
The couple’s first child, daughter Luna Simone Stephens, was named after legendary singer and activist Nina Simone.
When Legend performed Sunday night on the Billboard Music Awards, Teigen poked fun at people who criticized the couple for leaving the house after welcoming their new baby.
“Wow didn’t u just have a baby John smh go take care of it !!!!!! disgusting,” Chrissy tweeted, along with a photo of hubby being interviewed on television.
