Taylor Swift closed out her Reputation world tour Wednesday night in Tokyo, Japan. Before performing the song “Long Live,” she told the crowd how much she’d enjoyed creating a production that “made you feel like you were escaping, and going into a different world.”
“I’m so happy that that’s the kind of show you wanted to see, because it makes it so much fun to create a world for you. And I’m so lucky to get to do that,” Taylor continued.
“I’m so lucky you care about anything I create, whether it be music or a stage show,” she added. “Thank you for coming tonight. Thank you for coming to be a part of my life. I love you!”
The Reputation world tour has been a huge success — it recently won Taylor the award for Top U.S. Tour at the recent Billboard Live Music Awards.
On Instagram, Taylor posted a series of shots from the concert and wrote, “It’s so hard to believe that tonight will be the last time we wear these costumes, play this set list, do this choreography, and then say goodbye to the Reputation Stadium Tour. Thank you to the crowds that have lit up our year. We do this last one for all of you.”
