Juan Navarro, Music ChoiceSome of your favorite music stars are sharing their holiday memories in a new Music Choice video series called Sounds of the Seasons Live. Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas and Macklemore are among those who will be discussing their favorite Christmas traditions and performing holiday songs live.
In a preview clip of the video series, Kelly explains that she lives out her childhood Christmas fantasies through her own kids.
“We have fun with all the stuff like Elf on the Shelf and Santa, all the magical stuff,” she says. “Our house is, like, crazy decorated. There’s usually a little snow village and we usually have a plethora of trees and they all have different themes.”
Nick reminisces about how he used to decorate the tree with his dad and brothers growing up. “It was a big to-do and it took, like, hours because [my dad] would spend ten minutes talking about each ornament we hung on the tree,” he says.
Macklemore recalls his favorite gift. “My most vivid holiday memory would be receiving a Dallas Cowboys starter jacket in probably the early ‘90s,” he says. “I got that jacket and I remember it was probably three sizes too big, and it was one of the happiest moments of my entire life, of my childhood.”
Music Choice’s Sounds of the Seasons Live kicks off on November 20 on the Music Choice On Demand channel.
