Vincent PetersKelly Clarkson is teaming up with the It Gets Better Project, a pro-LGBTQ nonprofit organization, for a new fundraising campaign.

As part of the campaign, people are encouraged to create artwork showing their “meaning of life” – which also happens to be the title of Kelly’s latest album. Kelly will choose the winning submission and it will appear as a digital postcard available to send from the It Gets Better Project website. There will also be a limited run of print editions of the postcard available in packs of 10.

In a statement to People, Kelly says that “as a mother and as someone who wants my kids to grow up in a world where they know their self-worth,” she supports the It Gets Better Project and its goal “to uplift young LGBTQ+ people through messages of hope and positivity.”

The first 250 people who donate $50 or more to the It Gets Better Project will receive a personal signed note from Kelly.

The fan art contest kicks off today and runs through December 5 on ItGetsBetter.org. The winner will be announced December 21.
