When asked about Taylor during an interview on Australia’s Today show, Katy said, “I mean, I love her, I always have.”
She added, “We’ve had our differences but I just continue to say, ‘God bless her on her journey.’”
Katy first put their beef to bed during a livestream with Arianna Huffington while promoting her album, Witness. “I’m ready to let it go. Absolutely, 100 percent,” she told Arianna. “I forgive her, and I’m sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her, and I think it’s actually… I think it’s time.”
Katy may have extended the olive branch, but Taylor has yet to comment publicly on the matter. Their feud supposedly inspired Katy’s recent single, “Swish Swish.”
